Business
Kuwait Cement Company K.P.S.C. is a Kuwait-based industrial manufacturing company engaged in the production, marketing, and distribution of cement, clinker, and ready-mix construction materials. Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait, the company operates an integrated manufacturing complex and clinker production facility located in the Shuaiba Industrial Area, primarily serving residential, commercial, and governmental infrastructure sectors throughout Kuwait and the broader Arabian Gulf region. The company operates through two core business segments: Manufacturing and Investment. Kuwait Cement Company K.P.S.C. offers an extensive portfolio of construction and building solutions, including Ordinary Portland Cement (Type I); Sulphate Resistant Portland Cement (Type V); Moderate Sulphate Resistant Cement (Type II); Portland Pozzolana Cement; Ground Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag (GGBFS); White Portland Cement; industrial clinker; tailored ready-mix concrete formulations; bulk and multi-ply paper bagged cement packaging; and specialized logistics, marine bulk shipping, and overland materials transport services conducted through its subsidiary networks. In recent developments, the company has advanced strategic modernization programs across its Shuaiba manufacturing lines, integrating automated energy-efficiency controls and alternative fuel feeding systems to reduce thermal emissions in alignment with regional environmental sustainability mandates. Furthermore, the company has expanded its commercial portfolio of low-carbon blended and slag-cement products to supply large-scale urban infrastructure and housing developments associated with the New Kuwait Vision 2035 development pipeline, while optimizing its maritime receiving and bulk storage operations at Shuaiba Port to enhance raw material supply chain reliability and distribution throughput.
