Business
Kuwait Company for Process Plant Construction & Contracting K.P.S.C. (KCPC) is a Kuwait-based engineering, procurement, construction, and building materials enterprise engaged in executing large-scale civil, infrastructure, commercial, and industrial turnkey projects for public and private sector clients. Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait, the company operates primarily across Kuwait with historical project footprint in the wider Middle East region, holding a Grade One contractor classification from Kuwait's Central Agency for Public Tenders. KCPC conducts its business through two principal segments: Contracting and Commercial. The company delivers an integrated suite of construction, industrial, and engineering services; turnkey general contracting for commercial complexes, residential developments, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions; civil and heavy infrastructure engineering, including highway and arterial road construction, bridges, storm water drainage networks, sewage systems, and municipal water pipeline networks; electrical and mechanical engineering works, encompassing high-voltage power cabling, electrical substations, industrial lighting, fire alarm systems, surveillance and CCTV networks, and automated building management systems; supply, installation, testing, and maintenance of vertical transportation systems, including passenger elevators, freight elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and dumbwaiters; water engineering and leisure facilities, comprising industrial water treatment plants, desalination-related civil works, commercial swimming pools, and architectural water features; specialized industrial services, including structural concrete rehabilitation, passive fireproofing, protective coatings, pipeline insulation, and airfield runway construction; manufacturing and supply of certified construction materials, including ready-mix concrete, asphalt mixes, and polymer-modified bitumen; marble and natural stone fabrication, processing, and installation through its specialized KCPC Marble division, which acts as an authorized distributor for international surfacing brands including Neolith and Silestone; and scaffolding erection, formwork systems, and heavy construction equipment rental services. In recent developments, KCPC has actively expanded its operational backlog by securing major government infrastructure and civil engineering contracts in Kuwait. The company participated in key contract awards for large-scale national housing and urban expansion initiatives, including major infrastructure packages within the South Saad Al-Abdullah City development, alongside road and utility modernization projects commissioned by the Ministry of Public Works such as infrastructure rehabilitation in Al Maseela. Operationally, KCPC has reinforced its commercial and manufacturing capabilities by upgrading its asphalt and concrete batching facilities and expanding distribution agreements within its architectural surfaces division to support accelerating infrastructure and urban development demand across the Kuwaiti market.
