Mezzan Holding Company K.S.C.P. is a Kuwait-based diversified conglomerate engaged in the manufacturing, marketing, distribution, and wholesale and retail sale of food and beverage products, consumer healthcare goods, pharmaceuticals, fast-moving consumer goods, and industrial packaging materials, as well as the provision of contract catering and institutional logistics services. The company structures its operations into two core business divisions: Food and Non-Food (Healthcare and Consumer). Its product and service portfolio comprises: manufacturing and packaging of salty snacks, potato chips, confectionery, cakes, bakery items, processed meat, poultry, dairy products, and bottled water under proprietary brand names including KITCO, Khazan, Al Wazzan, Sara Cake, Aqua Gulf, and DANA; wholesale and retail distribution of imported ambient, chilled, and frozen food and beverage lines; pharmaceutical development and manufacturing of generic prescription medicines, tablets, syrups, and topical ointments through its subsidiary Kuwait Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries Company; commercial agency distribution of medical equipment, healthcare devices, and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products on behalf of multinational partners such as Medtronic, Hartmann, and Johnson & Johnson; distribution of personal care, beauty, baby care, and household cleaning products representing international consumer principals such as Reckitt Benckiser, Mars Wrigley, and Colgate-Palmolive; institutional contract catering, daily meal preparation, and camp management services for healthcare systems, airlines, government ministries, educational institutions, and industrial clients; and manufacturing of industrial packaging materials, including rigid plastics, corrugated cardboard cartons, and lubricants. Headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait, and tracing its commercial origins to the 1940s with formal corporate incorporation in 1999, Mezzan Holding Company operates through approximately 34 subsidiaries and manages over 34,000 stock keeping units across more than 1,200 commercial brands. The company maintains an integrated supply chain and distribution network across six primary Middle Eastern markets, including the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, and Iraq. In recent operational developments, Mezzan Holding has advanced its regional consolidation and distribution capabilities through targeted acquisitions and infrastructure expansion. The company executed an agreement to acquire Gulf Trading and Refrigerating Company for 23 million Kuwaiti Dinars, integrating 23 premier global brand agencies into its consumer portfolio, headlined by Mars Wrigley and Colgate-Palmolive. Concurrently, Mezzan has accelerated capital deployment within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by acquiring strategic industrial land and real estate assets in Riyadh to scale local food production and logistics infrastructure. Furthermore, the company continues expanding pharmaceutical production lines and localized contract manufacturing capabilities at its Kuwait Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries Company facilities, alongside corporate capital management initiatives that include regulatory authorizations for share buyback programs covering up to 10 percent of its issued share capital.
