Founded in 1936 and headquartered in Durham, North Carolina, LCI operates multiple manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and retail stores, including those on military bases. The company recently expanded through strategic acquisitions including Freedman Seating Company, a transportation seating manufacturer, and the assets of CWDS, LLC, focused on furniture solutions for the outdoor recreation market. Additionally, LCI acquired the assets of RLCB, enhancing employment opportunities for blind and visually impaired individuals in its workforce.
