Business
Golden Sky Minerals Corp. is a Canada-based junior mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, assessment, exploration, and development of precious metal and copper properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. Incorporated in 2018 and headquartered at 650 West Georgia Street, Suite 2110, Vancouver, British Columbia, the company holds 100% interests in multiple drill-ready projects, including the Rayfield copper-gold porphyry property spanning 39,000 to 50,800 hectares in south-central British Columbia; the Hotspot and Luckystrike gold properties in Yukon's White Gold District; the Squid East property in Yukon; and the Auden gold property covering 26,300 hectares in Ontario. It targets gold, copper, and silver deposits through systematic exploration programs, such as geophysical surveys, geochemical analysis, and drilling, primarily serving institutional investors and mining partners in North America. In a major strategic development, Golden Sky Minerals Corp. entered an option and joint venture agreement with Boliden Mineral Canada Ltd. in 2025, approved by shareholders in November 2025 and by the TSX Venture Exchange in late November 2025, allowing Boliden to earn up to an 80% interest in the Rayfield property by funding C$20 million in staged exploration expenditures, while combining it with Boliden's adjacent Gjoll property to form a 90,000-hectare district-scale opportunity in the Quesnel Trough. This partnership de-risks advancement of the asset with minimal equity dilution for Golden Sky, which retains 100% ownership until earn-in completion, and supports a 2026 program of geophysical surveys, mapping, targeting, and drilling on high-priority zones following 2025 groundwork including airborne geophysics and soil anomalies. The transaction underscores the company's shift toward collaborative high-potential porphyry exploration while building its early-stage pipeline across British Columbia, Yukon, and Ontario.
