Lumina Gold Corp. Lumina Gold Corp. is a Vancouver, Canada-based precious and base metals exploration and development company focused on advancing its 100%-owned Cangrejos Gold-Copper Project in Ecuador's El Oro Province. Founded in 1988 and formerly known as Odin Mining and Exploration Ltd. until its name change in November 2016, the company holds mineral concessions covering approximately 6,374 hectares, including the Cangrejos and Gran Bestia deposits, which host probable reserves of 659 million tonnes grading 0.55 g/t gold and 0.10% copper for 11.6 million ounces of gold and 1.42 billion pounds of copper, plus indicated resources of 1,080 million tonnes grading 0.48 g/t gold and 0.09% copper. Its core asset offers potential open-pit production of gold doré and gold-copper concentrate, with a 2023 Preliminary Feasibility Study outlining a 26-year mine life, average annual payable production of 371,000 ounces of gold and 41 million pounds of copper, all-in sustaining costs of US$671 per ounce net of copper by-product credits, and after-tax NPV5% of US$2.2 billion at US$1,650 per ounce gold and US$3.75 per pound copper; the project benefits from low strip ratios, 85% gold and 79% copper recoveries, proximity to port infrastructure, and access to low-cost hydroelectric power. In a major strategic development, CMOC Singapore Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of CMOC Group Limited, completed its C$581 million all-cash acquisition of Lumina Gold in June 2025 pursuant to a plan of arrangement, following shareholder approval representing 52.3% of shares and interim US$20 million convertible note financing; post-acquisition, Lumina's shares were delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange and OTCQB, with the company applying to cease being a reporting issuer in Canada, transitioning the Cangrejos project under CMOC's development.
