Founded in 1913 as Lance Inc. and renamed Snyder's-Lance following its 2010 merger with Snyder's of Hanover, the company is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, and operates manufacturing facilities across multiple U.S. states. Snyder's-Lance operates as a subsidiary of The Campbell's Company, following Campbell's completion of its $6.1 billion acquisition in March 2018, which integrated Snyder's-Lance brands into Campbell's snacks division alongside Pepperidge Farm; recent developments include Campbell's 2023 consolidation of snacks operations to its Camden, New Jersey headquarters and its November 2024 rebranding from Campbell Soup Company.
