(Nasdaq: LOAN) operates as a real estate finance company that originates, services, and manages a portfolio of first mortgage loans, specializing in short-term, secured, non-banking hard money loans to real estate investors; these include fix-and-flip loans to finance property purchases and repairs for quick resale, loans for small new construction projects of one- to three-family homes, and bridge loans to acquire small income-producing properties. The company provides revolving lines of credit and loans typically ranging from $1 million to $15 million with terms up to 36 months, secured by first liens on residential and commercial real estate in the New York metropolitan area, including New Jersey and Connecticut, as well as Florida. Founded in 1989 by Assaf Ran and headquartered at 60 Cuttermill Road, Suite 205, Great Neck, New York, Manhattan Bridge Capital generates returns through disciplined underwriting, due diligence, and portfolio management focused on asset protection, cash flow, and high-net-worth borrower principals. In November 2025, the board authorized a share repurchase program for up to 100,000 common shares over 12 months at prevailing prices, citing low leverage, management commitment, and strong performance amid a stock price decline; additionally, director Lyron L. Bentovim purchased 1,757 shares that month, increasing his holdings to 41,044 shares.
