Business
Comstock Inc. engages in the development, commercialization, and deployment of technologies, systems, and supply chains that enable systemic decarbonization and sustain clean energy systems. The company operates through five business segments—Fuels, Metals, Mining, Strategic Investments, and Corporate Services. Its core products and services include the extraction and conversion of under-utilized natural resources into reusable metals such as silver, aluminum, gold, and other critical minerals from end-of-life photovoltaics; development of advanced renewable fuels through technologies that convert lignocellulosic biomass into intermediates for refining; ownership and operation of mineral mining claims and projects primarily in northern Nevada; and operation of a solar panel recycling facility with zero-landfill certification. Additionally, Comstock provides engineering and construction services and holds investments in non-mining real estate, water rights, and securities. The company was incorporated in 2008 and is headquartered in Virginia City, Nevada, with operations in the United States and abroad. Recent major developments include the acquisition of Quantum Generative Materials LLC (GenMat), an AI-driven materials discovery platform and technical team, which integrates advanced physics-based artificial intelligence technologies to accelerate innovation in energy materials and systemic decarbonization. Comstock has completed an oversubscribed $34.5 million equity raise, eliminating all debt obligations and significantly expanding its capital base to accelerate commercialization efforts. It has placed equipment orders and made deposits for the construction of an industry-scale solar panel recycling facility in Silver Springs, Nevada, capable of processing over 3.3 million panels annually. The company also advanced strategic site selections for additional U.S. facilities and storage capacities and separated its fuels division into Bioleum Corporation to intensify focus on biofuel development and commercialization. These actions position Comstock to meet the growing demand for renewable metals and fuels as part of its systemic decarbonization mission. Comstock serves markets in clean energy production, precious and critical metals recycling for energy applications, renewable fuels, and mining industries. It leverages partnerships and strategic investors to integrate capital, technology, and human resources to drive sustainable growth and shareholder value in renewable and decarbonization-related technologies and infrastructure across North America and internationally. Its leadership includes Executive Chairman and CEO Corrado De Gasperis. This comprehensive approach highlights Comstock's multi-segment operations in clean energy innovation, resource recycling, advanced materials discovery, and mining with a strategic focus on sustainability and systemic decarbonization.
