The company operates through subsidiaries including A. Lassonde ind., which markets brands such as Oasis, Rougemont and Allen’s in Canada; Lassonde Pappas and Company in the United States, offering brands like Apple & Eve, Old Orchard and Ruby Kist; Lassonde Specialty Foods, producing brands including Antico, Canton, G Hughes, Gia Russa and Little Italy; Lassonde Snacks with the SunRype brand; and Arista Wines, importing wines from Italy, Spain and Australia alongside local ciders like Dublin’s Pub. Founded in 1918 by Aristide Lassonde and Georgianna Darcy as a vegetable cannery, Lassonde Industries Inc. is headquartered in Rougemont, Quebec, Canada, with manufacturing facilities across Canada and the United States serving supermarket chains, independent grocers, warehouse clubs, convenience stores, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools and food service wholesalers. In recent developments, the company acquired Sun-Rype Products Ltd. in 2019 for CAD$80 million to expand fruit snacks and juices; acquired U.S.-based Summer Garden Food Manufacturing in 2024 for approximately US$235 million to nearly double specialty food sales with premium sauces and condiments; appointed Vince Timpano as Chief Executive Officer effective September 1, 2024, with Nathalie Lassonde transitioning to Executive Vice-President and Co-Chairman; and increased its quarterly dividend by 10% to CAD$1.10 per share in February 2025.
