LuxUrban Hotels Inc., established in 2017 and based in Miami, Florida, previously operated in the hospitality sector by securing long-term master lease agreements for entire hotels and managing these properties for short-term rentals to both business and leisure travelers. The company, formerly known as CorpHousing Group Inc., officially adopted the LuxUrban Hotels Inc. name in November 2022. As of September 14, 2025, LuxUrban Hotels Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This petition for reorganization was subsequently converted to Chapter 7 liquidation on October 21, 2025. The Department of Justice also moved to intervene, citing a "state of chaos" and issues with stranded customers and unpaid workers.
