Business
Magma Silver Corp. is a Canadian precious-metals exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of silver- and gold-focused mineral properties. The Company’s principal asset is the wholly controlled Niñobamba silver-gold project, comprising an approximately 8-kilometre mineralized corridor in the Department of Ayacucho, Peru, approximately 500 kilometres southeast of Lima. Niñobamba targets low- and high-sulfidation epithermal silver-gold mineralization, with silver as the primary target metal and gold as a secondary target, and includes prospective underlying copper, lead and zinc porphyry-style mineralization. Its activities include geological mapping and modeling; geochemical and geophysical surveys; surface sampling; target generation and delineation; drilling and resource-expansion programs; permitting; community engagement; and project-development planning. The Company operates through its Canadian corporate office in Vancouver, British Columbia, and maintains operational capabilities in Peru, including local personnel and relationships with host communities. Magma Silver’s principal products are not commercial metals or finished goods; rather, it develops mineral exploration assets and generates exploration data supporting potential future mineral-resource definition and mine development. The Niñobamba project contains multiple prospective zones, including the Jorimina zone, and benefits from access to regional highways, grid power and the city of Ayacucho. The Company’s customer and capital-markets focus includes precious-metals investors, strategic mining companies and potential development, joint-venture or acquisition counterparties. The Company was formerly known as African Energy Metals Inc. and, in April 2025, completed its transition to Magma Silver Corp., changed its trading symbol to MGMA, graduated from the NEX board to TSX Venture Exchange Tier 2 status, and completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Niñobamba project from Rio Silver Inc. The acquisition repositioned the Company as a Peru-focused silver and gold explorer. During 2025, Magma Silver completed financings totaling approximately C$6.5 million, including an oversubscribed C$5.0 million private placement completed in October 2025, to fund exploration and corporate activities. The Company received a drill permit for the Jorimina zone in November 2025 and subsequently advanced drill-planning, target-definition and community-access activities. In September 2026, Magma Silver reported continuing advancement of Niñobamba and preparation for resource-expansion exploration work.
