Business
Cogefeed S.p.A. is an Italy-based independent power producer and renewable energy engineering company that specializes in the development, design, construction, and operation of clean power generation facilities and the provision of energy efficiency solutions. The company operates primarily across three business segments: Renewable Power Generation, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Services, and Energy Management and Advisory Services. Cogefeed S.p.A. offers comprehensive clean energy and infrastructure solutions, comprising the development, installation, and maintenance of ground-mounted solar photovoltaic systems; commercial and industrial rooftop solar arrays; agrivoltaic power plants integrating crop cultivation with clean electricity production; small-scale run-of-river hydroelectric power plants, including the ownership and management of a 232 kW hydroelectric facility in Porto Recanati via its operating subsidiary FG Esco S.r.l.; small and medium wind power installations; and high-efficiency cogeneration and trigeneration systems. Additionally, the company provides turnkey EPC general contracting services; comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) programs; energy audit, certification, and monitoring services; and regulatory consulting for industrial, commercial, agricultural, and public-sector clients, as well as wholesale electricity market off-takers across Italy. Founded in 2014 by Daniele Filizola, Cogefeed S.p.A. is headquartered in Torraca, Italy, and operates as a subsidiary of Filizola S.r.l. In recent corporate developments, Cogefeed S.p.A. completed its listing on the Euronext Growth Milan Professional Segment under the ticker symbol CGF in October 2024 to support the expansion of its renewable asset portfolio. In June 2025, the company formed a strategic partnership with Alternative Capital Partners SGR through the establishment of a joint venture holding company, Cogefeed Impact S.p.A. (55% owned by Cogefeed and 45% by ACP SGR's Sustainable Securities Fund), dedicated to developing and financing a pipeline of greenfield photovoltaic plants across the Marche and Basilicata regions. In August 2025, Cogefeed expanded its EPC general contracting pipeline by securing an 800,000 euro contract with E-Globe S.p.A. to construct two photovoltaic parks in Padula, Italy. In April 2026, the company obtained dedicated sustainability-linked financing from Mediocredito Centrale to fund the construction and grid connection of three new agrivoltaic plants located in the provinces of Potenza and Salerno, accelerating its strategic shift toward expanding proprietary renewable power generation capacity.
