Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A, MOG.B) designs, manufactures, and integrates high-performance precision motion control components, systems, and solutions, including electric, electro-hydraulic, and hydraulic servovalves, actuators, controllers, propulsion systems, and stabilization products; core offerings span flight control systems for military and commercial aircraft such as the F-35, Boeing 787, and Airbus A350, space and defense technologies like satellite thrusters, missile steering, turreted weapons, and counter-unmanned aerial systems, industrial controls for injection molding, wind turbines, metal forming, and simulation, as well as components including fiber optic modems, electromechanical actuators, and medical infusion pumps. Founded in 1951 and headquartered in East Aurora, New York, the company operates four main segments—aircraft controls, space and defense controls, industrial systems, and components—with sales, engineering, and manufacturing facilities across more than 26 countries, including the U.S., Germany, the UK, Canada, and Australia, serving aerospace, defense, industrial machinery, marine, power generation, and medical markets. Recent developments include the 2025 acquisition of COTSWORKS Inc. for $63 million to bolster space and defense fiber optics and high-bandwidth data solutions, completion of a major electromechanical actuation facility expansion in East Aurora for enhanced space manufacturing capacity, an ongoing Wheatfield clean room expansion to increase satellite and missile propulsion output by over 80% by mid-2026, record fiscal 2025 sales of $3.9 billion with improved margins, and new orders such as the SGT Stout reconfigurable integrated weapons platform extending production through 2027 alongside geographic expansion into Australia for guided rocket systems.
