- Moon River Moly Ltd. engages in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties in Canada, with a focus on molybdenum, tungsten and copper assets in British Columbia. The Company’s principal activities comprise the advancement of the Davidson Project, a molybdenum-copper-tungsten deposit located near Smithers in west-central British Columbia; geological exploration and resource delineation; drilling and underground-development programs; metallurgical, mineralogical and ore-sorting studies; engineering, environmental-baseline and economic-assessment work; and planning for potential mine, concentrator and flotation-processing development. The Davidson property includes six mineral leases covering approximately 1,631.8 hectares and seven mineral claims covering approximately 2,202.02 hectares, and has been subject to approximately 72,000 metres of drilling and 2.6 kilometres of underground development. The Company also owns a 25% interest in the Endako Mine Complex near Fraser Lake, approximately 190 kilometres west of Prince George, British Columbia, which comprises an open-pit molybdenum mine, concentrator and roaster and is currently on care and maintenance. Endako is jointly owned with Centerra Gold Inc., which holds the remaining 75% interest, through a joint-venture company.
Moon River Moly’s principal products are prospective mineral resources and development-stage molybdenum, tungsten and copper concentrate opportunities derived from its Davidson and Endako assets; it does not currently report commercial mine production. Its target markets include industrial users and commodity supply chains requiring molybdenum, a metal used principally in alloy steels and other metallurgical applications, as well as potential tungsten and copper concentrate customers. The Company was incorporated in 2019 and is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was formerly known as Moon River Capital Ltd. and changed its name to Moon River Moly Ltd. in May 2024.
Recent developments include the completion and filing of an updated National Instrument 43-101 preliminary economic assessment and related technical report for the Davidson Project, dated February 6, 2026, following the updated PEA effective December 23, 2025; the filing of a National Instrument 43-101 technical report for a potential restart of the Endako Mine, dated January 5, 2026, with an effective date of November 21, 2025; and the completion of a C$3.6 million LIFE private placement in February 2026 to fund environmental-baseline studies, further engineering and de-risking work at Davidson, further studies for Endako, and general working capital. In July 2026, Moon River engaged Concentrator Support Ltd. to provide engineering and metallurgical services, appointing its president, Cameron Lilly, as Davidson Project Manager and technical advisor for the Company’s Endako interest. The engagement includes oversight of ongoing tungsten flotation test work at Base Metallurgical Laboratories Ltd. in Kamloops, British Columbia, and support for Davidson development planning.
