Business
Aemulus Holdings Berhad (AEMULUS:KL) designs, engineers and develops automated test equipment (ATE) and test and measurement instruments for the semiconductor industry, with a primary focus on radio frequency (RF) and mixed-signal testing; it also provides related design consultancy and test services to multinational semiconductor manufacturers and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) companies. Core products include the Discrete Amoeba 4100 series for discrete semiconductor testing, Analog Amoeba 4200 for analog devices, Digital/Mixed Signal Amoeba 4600 for mixed-signal applications, RF Amoeba 7600 and AMB7600-SR for wireless and RF testing, alongside AMB5600, AMB4200 and AMB1831 testers targeting consumer electronics, automotive, lighting and industrial segments. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, the company operates geographically across Malaysia, China, Singapore, the United States, South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Germany, Vietnam and Taiwan through its key subsidiary Aemulus Corporation Sdn Bhd. In recent developments, Aemulus Corporation Sdn Bhd entered into an agreement in October 2024 to acquire the remaining 60% stake in its Chinese joint venture Tangming Shengshi Technology (TMSS) for RMB25 million (RM15.05 million), granting full control to enable strategic planning and investor identification for TMSS operations; upon completion expected in first-quarter 2025, the group plans to increase TMSS's registered capital by up to 60% via third-party subscriptions to fund working capital, research and development, and expansion amid TMSS's prior losses. In August 2025, the group announced the acquisition of intellectual property, technology, CMOS image sensor (CIS) roadmap, light source assets and related inventories to bolster its product portfolio.
