- Hextar Technologies Solutions Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company engaged in logistics, warehousing, trading of building materials, and technology solutions. Incorporated in 2005 and listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia in 2007, the company is headquartered in Klang, Selangor, with operations primarily in Peninsular Malaysia and extending logistics services across the Asia Pacific region. Its core activities encompass total logistics services including lorry transportation for tanker, bulk cargo, side curtain, project logistics, door-to-door delivery, goods-in-transit insurance, full container load/less than container load shipments, flat racks, open-top containers, project cargo vessels, forwarding, fumigation, chartering, and packaging; warehousing through highly-secured facilities available for rent; trading of high-quality certified industrial building materials for residential, commercial, and industrial developments via traditional channels and the digital platform eBuild; and technology applications featuring the fintech super-app MoneyX, which provides AI-powered financial management tools such as analysis, credit profile checks, asset valuation, investment comparisons, and plans for stock portfolio management, cash flow forecasting, and loyalty programs.
The company traces its origins to 1995 as a marine transportation provider before expanding into integrated logistics in 1997. Following divestments of certain core logistics businesses and the introduction of a new major shareholder, Hextar Technologies Solutions Berhad diversified into technology to capitalize on digitalization trends, positioning this segment as a key future revenue driver. Wholly-owned subsidiary Sin Hiap Hoe Trading & Transport Sdn Bhd entered a sales and purchase agreement on 12 March 2024 with Dataran Ehsan Sdn Bhd to dispose of leasehold land in Klang for RM8.78 million, with proceeds earmarked for technology expansion including MoneyX enhancements and marketing; the company also plans to sell a Johor warehouse to Airique Property Sdn Bhd by third-quarter 2025. MoneyX achieved over 100,000 downloads since its soft launch in October 2023, supported by collaborations with nearly 50 partners across banking, insurance, financial services, property, asset management, and legal sectors; eBuild, launched in financial year ended 31 March 2023, bolstered trading revenue growth amid rising construction demand. The group maintains subsidiaries such as Complete Logistic Specialists Sdn Bhd, Guper Bonded Warehouse Sdn Bhd, and CIBC Technology Sdn Bhd (65%-owned), serving construction, property development, and financial literacy-focused markets while managing 126 employees as of recent data.
