Business
DG-NET S.A. (operating as FIBO S.A.) is a Poland-based telecommunications operator providing high-speed fiber-optic broadband connectivity, digital television, voice, and data transmission solutions to retail, corporate, and public sector clients. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Dabrowa Gornicza, Poland, the company designs, builds, and manages proprietary Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and metro Ethernet telecommunications infrastructure across the Silesian Voivodeship, including Dabrowa Gornicza, Sosnowiec, Bedzin, Katowice, Zawiercie, Siewierz, and Lazy, as well as selected economic zones in Konin and Opole. The company operates through two primary business divisions: Retail Services and Enterprise/Carrier Solutions. Under its retail brand, FIBO, the company provides symmetrical and asymmetrical high-speed fiber broadband internet; interactive digital IP and cable television (FiberTV) integrated with multi-room features, cloud DVR, and the JAMBOX content platform; Voice over IP (VoIP) fixed telephony; and bundled mobile voice and data services. Under its business-to-business brand, OPTOWAY, the company delivers dedicated symmetric leased lines; Layer 2 and Layer 3 Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) data transmission; dark fiber optic leasing; carrier colocation and point-of-presence interconnect services; customized Service Level Agreement (SLA) network management; and structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure installation for commercial developers and multi-dwelling unit projects, including nationwide networking services for commercial retail chains. In recent corporate developments, the company executed a strategic corporate rebranding in July 2026, officially changing its corporate name from DG-NET S.A. to FIBO S.A. and updating its trading ticker on the Warsaw Stock Exchange NewConnect market to FIB to unify brand architecture and support a digital transformation focused on automated customer service workflows. In July 2026, the company expanded its network coverage and subscriber base through the 100% equity acquisition of a regional telecommunications operator in southern Poland as part of its ongoing consolidation strategy within the small-and-medium operator sector. Additionally, the company reorganized its executive leadership with the appointment of founder Mariusz Jaworski as President of the Management Board in May 2024 to oversee expanded FTTH deployment and commercial business integration.
