NGL Energy Partners LP (NYSE: NGL; NGL-PC), a master limited partnership headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma and founded in 1940, operates as a diversified midstream energy company focused on transportation, storage, blending, and marketing services for crude oil, natural gas liquids (NGLs), refined products/renewables, and water solutions across the United States, with key operations in the Permian Basin, Delaware Basin, Eagle Ford, and DJ Basins. The company conducts business through three primary segments: Water Solutions, which transports, treats, recycles, and disposes produced and flowback water from oil and natural gas production, aggregates and sells recovered crude oil, disposes solids including tank bottoms and drilling fluids, performs truck and frac tank washouts, and sells produced water for reuse along with brackish non-potable water; Crude Oil Logistics, which purchases crude oil from producers and marketers, transports it to refineries or resale points via pipelines, storage terminals, barge loading facilities, rail, and trade hubs, and provides associated storage, terminaling, and transportation including the Grand Mesa Pipeline System, Cushing terminal, and Gulf Coast terminals; and Liquids Logistics, which handles NGL transportation, storage, fractionation, blending, and marketing to refineries, petrochemical companies, propane distributors, and end-users, including propane pipelines in Michigan and marine butane exports from Chesapeake, Virginia. NGL Energy Holdings LLC serves as the general partner. In recent developments, the company completed asset sales totaling approximately $270 million in May 2025, including 17 natural gas liquids terminals, the Green Bay terminal, the Rack Marketing refined products business, Limestone Ranch ownership, and its remaining crude rail car fleet, enabling focus on core water solutions and crude oil logistics assets, deleveraging, and capital structure improvements; it also partners with the State of New Mexico to secure 10,000 acres of Lesser Prairie Chicken habitat and emphasizes redefining saltwater disposal (S.W.D.) leadership in midstream water management, processing around 2.80 million barrels of produced water per day in Q2 fiscal 2026.
