- NiCAN Limited is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of nickel, copper, cobalt, gold, silver, platinum-group metals and related base- and precious-metal mineral properties. The Company’s principal assets comprise the Wine Project, a high-grade nickel-copper exploration property in the Snow Lake area of northwestern Manitoba, and the Pipy Properties, consisting of the Pipy South and Pipy North project areas in the Thompson Nickel Belt of northeastern Manitoba. NiCAN conducts geological mapping, geophysical and geochemical surveying, target generation, staking, drilling, sampling, assaying and resource-focused exploration activities. Its Wine Project targets nickel-copper-cobalt and platinum-group-metal mineralization, while the Pipy Project targets nickel-bearing massive sulphides as well as gold, silver and associated base-metal mineralization; Pipy South is located approximately 10 to 20 kilometres northeast of Thompson, Manitoba, near established mining infrastructure and Vale’s Thompson Nickel Mine. The Company operates in Manitoba, Canada, and is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. In 2026, NiCAN expanded its Pipy South land position to approximately 65.2 square kilometres and completed a 16-hole, 2,395-metre diamond-drilling program focused on the Horseshoe Gold Zone; initial results indicated near-surface gold mineralization extending approximately 400 metres along strike, including 75.0 metres grading 0.65 g/t gold and 11.55 g/t silver and 30.0 metres grading 0.90 g/t gold, including 2.0 metres grading 8.01 g/t gold. The Company also commenced follow-up drilling to evaluate both the newly identified gold zone and nickel-bearing massive sulphides at Pipy South, and closed a non-brokered private placement with strategic investor Michael Gentile for gross proceeds of $1.27 million in March 2026. NiCAN’s Pipy South activities are conducted under an exploration agreement with the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation.
