Nicox S.A. (Ticker: NICXF) is a France-based international ophthalmology company that develops and commercializes innovative therapeutics to maintain vision and improve ocular health; its core offerings include VYZULTA (latanoprostene bunod ophthalmic solution) 0.024% for open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension and ZERVIATE (cetirizine ophthalmic solution) 0.24% for ocular itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis, both commercialized in the U.S. and with ZERVIATE also launched in China; the company's pipeline features NCX 470, a nitric oxide-donating bimatoprost analog that has completed Phase 3 trials for glaucoma in the U.S. and China with an ongoing Phase 3 program in Japan, NCX 4251, a fluticasone propionate suspension in clinical development for dry eye disease licensed exclusively to a partner in China, and NCX 1728 under preclinical evaluation for retinal conditions. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Sophia Antipolis (Biot), France, Nicox operates globally with subsidiaries including Nicox Ophthalmics, Inc. in Durham, North Carolina, U.S., and Nicox Research Institute S.r.l. in Bresso, Italy, targeting eye care practitioners and patients through partnerships with Bausch & Lomb, Kowa, Eyevance Pharmaceuticals, and Ocumension Therapeutics. Recent developments include the July 2025 agreement with Kowa granting exclusive rights to NCX 470 in the U.S. and all unlicensed territories for up to €191.5 million, positive 12-month sustained efficacy data from the NCX 470 Denali Phase 3 trial in October 2025 with no new safety signals, and the first commercial sale of ZERVIATE in China by partner Ocumension in December 2024, establishing a new recurrent revenue stream following Ocumension's market-enhancing acquisitions.
