NanoViricides, Inc. (NNVC) is a clinical-stage nano-biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops and commercializes nanoviricide-class antiviral therapeutics designed to mimic human cell receptors and trap viruses for destruction; its proprietary platform technology, licensed from TheraCour Pharma, Inc., targets viruses including RSV, COVID-19/SARS-CoV/MERS coronaviruses, influenza/bird flu, MPOX/smallpox, shingles (VZV), HSV-1/HSV-2 cold sores/genital lesions, HIV (potential functional cure), Ebola/Marburg hemorrhagic viruses, dengue, rabies, hepatitis C and others. The company operates its own multi-kilogram-scale cGMP-compliant manufacturing facility in Shelton, Connecticut, where it was founded in 2005 as the top public entity above private IP-holding firms TheraCour Pharma and AllExcel; it serves global markets with a focus on life-threatening viral infections and advances candidates through human clinical trials.
