Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, India, the company maintains a global footprint serving pharmaceutical, healthcare, personal care and fine chemicals sectors; Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd is a subsidiary of Adimans Technologies LLP. In recent developments, the company completed a merger of two wholly-owned Swiss step-down subsidiaries, CARBOGEN AMCIS SPECIALITIES AG and CARBOGEN AMCIS INNOVATIONS AG, to streamline its corporate structure and enhance operational efficiency as of October 2025; its subsidiary CARBOGEN AMCIS refinanced and enhanced syndicated credit facilities in November 2025, securing additional CHF 40 million with an accordion feature for CHF 30 million to fund growth in continuous flow chemistry, drug conjugation and digital transformation.
