Founded in 1997 and headquartered at Dhunseri House, 4A Woodburn Park, Kolkata, India, the company sells tea via auctions at Kolkata and Guwahati, private sales through intermediaries, and bulk channels, targeting domestic and export markets while employing eco-friendly practices like integrated pest management, mechanized harvesting, soil nutrition mapping, rainwater harvesting, and organic supplements. Recent developments include the disposal of Dilli Tea Estate and closure of the Jaipur tea packaging factory during fiscal 2025 to rationalize operations and enhance profitability; Naga Dhunseri Group Limited increased its stake to 54.56% on March 10, 2025, making Dhunseri Tea & Industries its subsidiary; leadership changes encompass the appointment of Mayank Beriwala as Executive Director effective February 12, 2025, redesignation of Bharati Dhanuka to Vice Chairman, transition of CEO from P.C.
