Neuland Laboratories Limited manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and peptides for the global pharmaceutical industry from its US FDA, EU GMP and other regulatory-compliant facilities in Telangana, India. The company offers custom manufacturing solutions including process design and development, scale-up from lab to commercial production, analytical method validation, stability studies and regulatory support such as IND, IMPD, NDA and DMF filings; its generic drug services segment supplies approximately 15 mature large-volume APIs encompassing key molecules like Levetiracetam and Mirtazapine across therapeutic areas including anti-diabetics, anti-infectives, anti-hypertensives, neurology and peptides via solid, solution and hybrid manufacturing technologies. Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Hyderabad, Neuland Laboratories operates three primary manufacturing sites in Telangana with additional offices in the United States and Japan, serving customers in over 85 countries primarily in North America, Europe and Japan. Recent developments include board approval in January 2025 for Rs 342 crore capital expenditure to expand peptide synthesizer reactor capacity at Unit-1 from 0.5 KL to 6.37 KL by fiscal 2027 and add 52 KL capacity at Unit-3 within 15-18 months to meet growing demand in its generics drug services and custom manufacturing services businesses; in November 2025, the board greenlit Rs 1.89 billion for a new research and development center at Genome Valley in Hyderabad; the company continues partnerships such as its ongoing supply arrangement for xanomeline with Bristol Myers Squibb following its 2024 acquisition of Karuna Therapeutics, bolstering its custom manufacturing services outlook projected to grow over 50% in coming years.
