The company produces paper-covered and enamelled conductors; copper and aluminum busbars and flats; copper and aluminum tubes; brass rods and wires; bare, paper-covered, enamelled, and fiber glass-covered wires and strips in round, rectangular, and bunched forms; oxygen-free copper rods; and special-grade brass rods for ammunition applications. These products serve transformers, motors, electrical panels, HVAC systems, automotive parts, precision instruments, and electrical connectors. Incorporated in 2003 and headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, Shera Energy operates manufacturing facilities across 75,000 square meters in Rajasthan, including sites in Vishwakarma Industrial Area and Kaladera. The company primarily targets the Indian electrical and power sector, with vendor approvals from organizations such as Power Grid Corporation of India, and holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications. It became a public limited company in May 2022, listed on NSE Emerge in February 2023, and focuses on backward and forward integration for value-added products. In recent developments, Shera Energy expanded production capacity by 20% to 18,600 tonnes per annum in November 2023 through additional machine installations. The company acquired cable manufacturing machines in October 2023 to establish a Rs 10 crore cable plant at Rajputana Industries Ltd, secured a Rs 3.5 crore term loan for a new manufacturing shed, and installed a 1.4 MW solar plant to improve cost-efficiency. It registered Shera Zambia Limited in January 2024 for winding wire and cable production in Central Africa and, in June 2025, acquired a copper cathode plant in Zambia's Copperbelt region via this subsidiary to produce 99.99% pure copper cathodes at an initial 1,200 metric tonnes per annum, with plans to scale to 5,000 tonnes for backward integration and global supply chain resilience.
