Business
Suraj Ltd manufactures and sells stainless steel seamless pipes, tubes, U-tubes, flanges, fittings and electropolished products; specializes in tubing solutions for heat exchangers, LP/HP heaters, condensers and heating elements; and offers duly annealed, pickled, cold-rolled products with lengths up to 30 meters conforming to international standards including ASTM, ASME, DIN, EN, NFA and JIS. The company, part of the Suraj Group founded in 1960 and incorporated in 1994 as a public limited entity, maintains headquarters in Suraj House, opposite Usmanpura Garden, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and operates state-of-the-art facilities for mother pipe production via hot piercing, followed by cold pilgering or drawing processes using stainless steel round bars from reputed producers. A Government of India-recognized Export House, Suraj Ltd supplies premium products to diverse industries such as pharmaceuticals, dyes and pigments, oil and gas, refineries, chemicals and power plants in India and more than 70 countries worldwide. Recent financial performance reflects consolidated net profit of Rs 13 crore for fiscal year 2025, down from Rs 22 crore in 2024 amid sales contraction to Rs 234 crore, with net debt decreasing to Rs 44 crore as of September 2025; the company continues dividend payments at 0.55% yield and reports consolidated half-year profit after tax of Rs 3.57 crore for the period ended September 30, 2025.
