Business
Nova Leap Health Corp. provides non-medical home care and support services to seniors and individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities in the United States and Canada. The company offers dementia care, companionship, personal grooming including bathing and dressing, mobility assistance, medication reminders, errands such as grocery shopping and prescription pickups, light housekeeping, meal preparation, respite care, palliative care, and transitional services from hospital to home; services are delivered through a portfolio of acquired agencies operating in over 10 U.S. states including Massachusetts, Florida, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Oklahoma, Ohio, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Texas, as well as Nova Scotia, Canada. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Nova Leap Health Corp. pursues a consolidation strategy in the fragmented home care industry by acquiring small to medium-sized agencies with strong reputations and integrating centralized back-office support to enhance operational efficiencies and margins. The company recently re-engaged its acquisition program, completing strategic purchases in Massachusetts and Florida in 2024, followed by two home care agency acquisitions in Nova Scotia in January and May 2025; it also amended its credit agreement with BMO Bank of Montreal in 2024 to provide up to $7 million in available credit for growth and reported record annual adjusted EBITDA of $1.6 million for 2024 and record quarterly revenue of $8.3 million with adjusted EBITDA of $671,000 in Q3 2025.
