Business
Österreichische Post AG (ticker: OERCF) operates as Austria's leading postal, logistics and service provider, delivering letter mail, advertising mail, print media and parcels throughout the country and internationally. The company organizes its activities into three primary divisions: Mail, which handles the transport and delivery of letters, direct mail and publications; Parcel & Logistics, offering domestic and international shipping solutions, e-commerce returns, labeling services, recipient notifications and tracking via web and mobile platforms; and Retail & Bank, providing customer-facing products and services in postal, banking, telecommunications and energy sectors through one of Austria's largest private branch networks. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Vienna, Austria, Österreichische Post AG maintains a significant international footprint, with operations in Germany, Southeast and Eastern Europe, Türkiye and Azerbaijan across 13 countries, serving private and business customers in these regions; the Republic of Austria holds a 52.8% stake through ÖBAG, with the remainder in free float. In a major strategic expansion, the company signed an agreement on November 28, 2025, to acquire a 70% stake in Bulgarian e-commerce logistics provider euShipments.com for approximately EUR 55 million, pending regulatory approval and expected to close in early 2026, enhancing its Southeast European presence and international e-commerce portfolio with options to acquire or divest the remaining 30% within four years. With 2023 revenue of EUR 2.74 billion and around 27,000 full-time employees, Österreichische Post AG underscores its role in Austria's communications and logistics infrastructure while committing to sustainability goals, including CO2-free deliveries in Austria by 2030.
