- Dream Homes & Development Corporation operates as a regional builder and developer specializing in the construction and sale of new single-family and multi-family homes along with residential subdivisions primarily in New Jersey, United States. The company offers a variety of residential property types including semi-custom homes, entry-level and first-time move-up single-family homes, multi-family units, and townhome developments. Core services include home construction, real estate development, renovations, and elevation projects. The company also acts as a general contractor and has completed over 2,000 projects since its founding in 1993, with headquarters located in Forked River, New Jersey. Recent strategic shifts include a significant pivot to a "Build to Lease" model, wherein 155 newly constructed multi-family units in Ocean County have been redirected from sale to rental properties to capitalize on the rental housing shortage, creating a new steady revenue stream through property leasing. This complements the company’s traditional core divisions of custom new homes and renovations/elevations. Dream Homes is actively pursuing multiple residential projects, with a strong pipeline supported by over 500 active prospects and plans for additional development of 400 to 800 residential units over the next five years. The company has also secured financing agreements to facilitate growth and recently launched the Berkeley Terrace 70-unit townhome project with pre-sales and infrastructure commencement underway. These moves signal an expansion of the company's footprint and operations, particularly emphasizing rental income alongside sales in the New Jersey real estate market. Dream Homes targets the residential construction and real estate development industry, serving a customer base ranging from individual home buyers to investors seeking rental properties. The company maintains a strong market presence primarily in New Jersey, with a focus on Ocean County and surrounding regions. Its growth strategy leverages market demand created by regional housing shortages and rebuilding needs post-events like Storm Sandy, aiming to capture substantial rebuilding market opportunities estimated in the billions. Dream Homes continues to drive revenue growth through new contracts, enhanced construction projects, and strategic land acquisitions or options to expand its development pipeline. It operates under the ticker symbol DREM in the OTC markets and has established partnerships with firms such as Action Plus Realty and secured financing through regional banks like Ocean First Bank to support project initiatives. Overall, Dream Homes & Development Corporation combines traditional homebuilding and renovation expertise with innovative leasing strategies to strengthen its market position and revenue prospects in the competitive New Jersey residential real estate market. The company emphasizes diversified offerings from custom homes to multi-family rental units, backed by a robust project pipeline and financial support to sustain growth. It remains focused on addressing regional housing supply challenges while expanding its operational scale and service categories.
