- Aesthetic Medical International Holdings Group Limited operates as a leading provider of aesthetic medical services in China, focusing on surgical aesthetic treatments, non-surgical aesthetic treatments, and general healthcare services. The company's core offerings include surgical procedures such as double eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, liposuction, and facelifts; non-surgical treatments encompassing minimally invasive techniques and energy-based therapies; and additional services in internal medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, aesthetic dentistry, and hair loss treatment. The company primarily serves the domestic Chinese market with treatment centers located in major cities, notably in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta area. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Shenzhen, China, Aesthetic Medical International consolidates over 20 years of clinical experience to deliver comprehensive one-stop aesthetic service solutions. Recently, the company has undergone significant regulatory and market changes, including receiving a delisting notice from the Nasdaq Hearings Panel in May 2024, with the actual suspension of trading occurring shortly thereafter. It trades on the OTCQX market as of mid-2024. Despite these challenges, Aesthetic Medical International continues to expand its service portfolio and maintain its operational footprint in China's aesthetic medical sector. Its recent financial results show a slight revenue decline in 2024 compared to the previous year, reflecting the transitional period post-Nasdaq delisting and evolving market conditions. The company remains focused on enhancing non-surgical aesthetic services, which show modest growth, and adjusting its operational strategy to optimize cost and service delivery. The company operates primarily through four private for-profit aesthetic medical institutions situated across key provinces in China, including Zhejiang. It positions itself within the medical care facilities and healthcare industry segments, targeting a broad customer base interested in both surgical and minimally invasive aesthetic enhancements. Aesthetic Medical International Holdings Group Limited emphasizes clinical expertise, diverse treatment options, and geographic coverage as its competitive strengths within the Chinese aesthetic medical services industry. Overall, the company's product suite, geographic reach, and recent strategic shifts reflect its commitment to serving China's growing demand for aesthetic medical services while navigating evolving regulatory and market environments. It continues leveraging its foundational clinical expertise and network of treatment centers to provide a wide range of cosmetic and healthcare services domestically.
