Business
Victory Metals Limited (ASX:VTM) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on the exploration and development of rare earth elements and critical minerals. The company holds the North Stanmore Heavy Rare Earth Element Project in Western Australia, Australia's largest clay-hosted indicated heavy rare earth resource totaling 320.6 million tonnes at 510ppm TREO plus scandium, gallium, and hafnium; this ionic clay deposit features high-value heavy rare earths including dysprosium up to 218ppm and terbium, with strategic by-products and exceptional metallurgical recoveries of 94% for magnet rare earth oxides via low-cost leaching processes. Operations center on the Midwest region near Cue, approximately 665km from Perth, with access via the Great Northern Highway; Victory Metals also maintains a portfolio of underexplored tenements in the contiguous Cue goldfields. Founded in 2007 and headquartered at Suite 1, 295 Rokeby Road, Subiaco, Western Australia, the company, formerly Victory Goldfields Limited until November 2022, targets defense, electric vehicle, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing markets through its mixed rare earth carbonate production. Recent developments include a non-binding letter of intent signed in October 2025 with Sumitomo Corporation for a five-year offtake of 30% of North Stanmore's mixed rare earth carbonate, advancing from a December 2024 MOU; a 29.5% upgrade to the JORC mineral resource estimate in August 2025; globally outstanding leach test results announced December 1, 2025; a March 2025 scoping study projecting 31-year mine life, post-tax NPV up to A$1.2 billion, capex of A$337 million, and OPEX of A$25.5 per tonne; and a letter of interest in April 2025 from the U.S. Export-Import Bank for up to US$190 million in project financing.
