Business
Phibro Animal Health Corporation (Nasdaq: PAHC), founded in 1946 and headquartered in Teaneck, New Jersey, develops, manufactures and markets a diversified portfolio of animal health and mineral nutrition products for food-producing animals including poultry, swine, beef cattle, dairy cattle and aquaculture species; its core offerings encompass medicated feed additives, antibacterials, anticoccidials, nutritional specialty products such as OmniGen-AF, vaccines, anthelmintics, mineral nutrition supplements and performance products that enhance feed efficiency, disease prevention and overall livestock health. The company operates through three primary segments--Animal Health, Mineral Nutrition and Performance Products--with the majority of revenue generated from Animal Health, and conducts business across the United States, Latin America, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific via direct sales to integrated producers, feed manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. In a significant recent development, Phibro completed the acquisition of Zoetis Inc.'s medicated feed additive and water-soluble product portfolio for $350 million in October 2024, integrating over 37 product lines sold in approximately 80 countries, six manufacturing sites in the U.S., Italy and China, and more than 300 employees, which has expanded its offerings across cattle, swine and poultry sectors, boosted net sales by 39% to $378.7 million in fiscal Q4 2025 and driven a 27% full-year sales increase to $1.29 billion. This strategic move complements Phibro's existing capabilities in vaccines and nutritional specialties while diversifying revenue and supporting profitability through enhanced global animal health solutions.
