Invesco Global Clean Energy ETF (PBD) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks capital appreciation by investing at least 90% of its total assets in securities comprising the WilderHill New Energy Global Innovation Index or American Depositary Receipts based on those securities; the index focuses on companies engaged in greener, renewable energy sources and technologies that facilitate cleaner energy, including solar, wind, fuel cells, energy storage, hydroelectric power, and related innovations. The fund holds approximately 110 stocks, with top holdings such as Plug Power Inc., ITM Power Plc, QuantumScape Corp., Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente SA, and HD Hyundai Electric Co Ltd; sector allocations emphasize industrials (48.09%), utilities (19.67%), and information technology (16.57%), while geographic exposure spans the United States (23.49%), Taiwan (12.21%), China (11.91%), South Korea (9.03%), Spain (5.43%), and other regions including Japan, Canada, France, Germany, and Israel. Launched on June 13, 2007, the ETF lists on NYSE Arca, carries a total expense ratio of 0.75%, and maintains total net assets of around $94 million. The fund undergoes quarterly rebalancing and reconstitution to align with the index's equal-weighted tiers, targeting global small- and mid-cap clean energy innovators across growth and value styles.
