Business
PHINIA Inc. (NYSE: PHIN) manufactures and sells advanced fuel delivery systems, ignition systems, and electric mobility components for internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles. The company offers a broad portfolio of products including fuel injection systems, fuel pumps, engine management sensors, actuators, valves, spark plugs under the NGK brand, oxygen sensors, and cabin air filters; aftermarket parts through brands such as Delphi Technologies, NGK Spark Plugs, and Beral; and electric vehicle solutions like battery management systems, power electronics, and thermal management components. PHINIA serves original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and aftermarket customers in the automotive, commercial vehicle, and powersports sectors across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Founded in 2023 as a spin-off from BorgWarner Inc., the company is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In late 2024, PHINIA completed the acquisition of the filtration business from Mann+Hummel, expanding its aftermarket offerings with air, fuel, and oil filters to strengthen its position in vehicle maintenance solutions. The company also announced a strategic partnership with a leading electric vehicle battery producer in early 2025 to co-develop next-generation thermal management technologies for EV powertrains. Additionally, PHINIA launched its PHINIA Ignite platform in mid-2025, a suite of integrated software and hardware for hybrid engine controls, marking its push into digital engine optimization services. These moves support ongoing expansions in electrification and aftermarket segments amid global automotive transitions.
