Business
Power Metals Corp Power Metals Corp. (TSX-V: PWM; OTCQB: PWRMF) is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration, evaluation, and development of resource properties rich in critical minerals including cesium, lithium, and tantalum. The company holds 100% interest in its flagship Case Lake property comprising 586 cell claims across northeastern Ontario near the Ontario-Quebec border, featuring multiple granitic domes with pollucite-bearing LCT pegmatites such as the West Joe Dyke, North, Main, South, East, and Northeast dykes; it also owns the recently acquired Decelles property with 247 claims covering 14,229 hectares and the Mazerac property with 115 claims spanning 6,653 hectares, both located near Val-d'Or and Rouyn-Noranda in Quebec's Abitibi region, prospective for spodumene and beryl-bearing pegmatites within the Pontiac sub-province. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Power Metals operates primarily in Ontario and Quebec, targeting battery metals, technology minerals, and high-growth specialty resources to supply North American critical mineral demands. In October 2025, the company completed its acquisition of the Decelles and Mazerac properties from Winsome Resources (ASX: WR1), issuing shares that increased WR1's ownership to 16.15% and expanding its portfolio to over 947 claims across more than 330 square kilometers of LCT-prospective ground; earlier in April 2025, Phase II ore sorting at Case Lake produced high-grade cesium oxide concentrate up to 18.57% Cs2O alongside spodumene and tantalum, validating cost-effective processing; ongoing Phase III drilling and magnetic drone surveys continue at Case Lake with a maiden mineral resource estimate recently announced for West Joe Dyke.
