REE Automotive Ltd. REE Automotive Ltd. develops and provides software-defined electric vehicle platforms and related technologies for commercial fleets and autonomous vehicles. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Kibbutz Glil-Yam, Israel, the company offers its proprietary REEcorner technology, which integrates steering, braking, suspension, powertrain, and control systems into compact modules positioned adjacent to each wheel; x-by-wire control systems including steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and drive-by-wire for independent wheel operation; modular flat EV chassis platforms supporting class 1 to class 6 vehicles with enhanced space for passengers, cargo, and batteries; and P7 product line encompassing P7-S platforms, P7-C class 4 and class 5 chassis cab trucks with features such as all-wheel drive, up to 18,298 lbs GVWR, 536 peak horsepower, and ranges up to 210 miles. REE Automotive operates an automotive software R&D center in Israel, an engineering and manufacturing integration center in the United Kingdom, and conducts sales, assembly, and customer service in the United States, with additional presence in France, Germany, Japan, and internationally through subsidiaries and partners. It targets fleet operators, rental companies like Penske and U-Haul, truck manufacturers such as Hino, and mobility-as-a-service providers with turnkey solutions including vehicle financing and charging infrastructure. In recent developments, REE Automotive entered a strategic global manufacturing and supply chain agreement with Motherson Group in September 2024, which included a $45 million investment for production ramp-up; kicked off U.S. production with Roush Industries as contract manufacturer in September 2024; signed a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation in November 2025 for software-defined vehicle collaboration; announced a pivot in May 2025 to pause hardware production and focus on software offerings to OEMs and technology companies; secured a $36.4 million registered direct offering in March 2025 led by Motherson; and collaborated with Geotab for fleet data analytics and Mission Mobile Medical for rural healthcare transport in early 2025.[investors.ree.auto]
