Business
Riley Exploration Permian, Inc. operates as an independent enterprise engaged in the full lifecycle of oil and natural gas assets, encompassing their procurement, investigation, enhancement, and extraction across key regions of Texas and New Mexico. The company strategically concentrates its efforts on horizontal drilling within conventional, liquid-rich formations, notably targeting the San Andres, Abo, and Yeso trends in the Northwest Shelf of the Permian Basin. Its core landholdings are situated in contiguous areas, predominantly in Yoakum County, Texas, home to its Champions field, and in Eddy County, New Mexico, where its Red Lake field lies, expanded through recent acquisitions in 2023 and 2024. As of December 31, 2024, the firm managed approximately 58,270 net acres and operated 612 net producing wells. Recent strategic moves include the July 2025 acquisition of Silverback Exploration II, LLC, further bolstering its New Mexico footprint and adding significant production and undeveloped locations. The company has also expanded into midstream infrastructure, developing gas gathering and compression, and is advancing into power generation through a joint venture. With its headquarters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Riley Exploration Permian continues to focus on generating predictable growth, robust cash flow, and shareholder returns.
