Business
RH (NYSE: RH), formerly Restoration Hardware Holdings, Inc., operates as a luxury lifestyle brand and retailer specializing in high-end home furnishings; the company offers an extensive portfolio of products including furniture, lighting, textiles, bathware, décor, outdoor and garden collections, as well as baby, child, and teen furnishings through its RH Segment, complemented by premium bath and kitchen products via the Waterworks segment and real estate operations supporting its gallery network. RH sells these offerings via immersive retail galleries, outlet stores, sourcebooks, websites, hospitality venues, RH guesthouses, interior design services, and trade and contract channels, targeting affluent consumers, interior designers, and trade professionals primarily in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, and Spain. Founded in 1979 by Stephen Gordon in Eureka, California, and headquartered at 15 Koch Road in Corte Madera, California, RH positions itself as an arbiter of taste, curating collections from leading artisans and expanding into an ecosystem encompassing products, places, services, and spaces such as RH Residences, private jets, yachts, and media platforms. In recent developments, RH quietly acquired trade-focused brands Dennis & Leen, Formations, and Michael Taylor Designs in 2025 to bolster its luxury offerings; the company continues global expansion with new Design Galleries and Outdoor Galleries, achieving 47% sales growth in the UK and 60% in Europe amid tariff challenges that prompted delays in next-generation brand extensions and product launches to spring 2026, while generating $34 million in free cash flow to fuel these initiatives.
