Richards Group Inc. operates as a Canadian value-added distributor and emerging original equipment manufacturer serving the healthcare and packaging markets. Founded in 1912 and headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, the Company conducts operations principally through its Richards Health and Richards Packaging divisions, serving healthcare providers, pharmacies, retailers, manufacturers, and small and medium-sized commercial customers in Canada, the United States and international markets. Richards Health distributes medical devices, capital equipment, consumable products, supplies and related solutions for aesthetic medicine, pharmacy, vision care, surgical and dental applications; provides pharmacy equipment, systems and supplies; and develops, owns and markets healthcare products under the DermapenWorld, Dispill, LUVO and WorldPRP brands. The division operates through specialized businesses including Clarion Medical Technologies and Healthmark Services Ltd. Richards Packaging, operating under the Richards Packaging and McKernan Packaging brands, distributes glass, plastic and specialty rigid packaging products, including bottles, jars, containers, closures and related packaging solutions for food and beverage, cosmetics and personal care, pharmaceutical, industrial and other end markets across North America. The Company emphasizes product innovation, high-touch customer service, technical expertise, acquisition-led expansion and modernization of its operating infrastructure. In December 2025, Richards Packaging Income Fund completed its conversion from an open-ended income trust to Richards Group Inc., with common shares commencing trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol RIC. Recent healthcare expansion includes the February 2025 acquisitions of National Dental Innovations and HL Production, the June 2025 acquisition of DermapenWorld, and the May 2026 acquisition by Healthmark Services Ltd. of the consumer packaged goods assets of PharmaSystems Inc. for $13.5 million, adding over-the-counter health and wellness products supplied to major Canadian pharmacies and retailers.
