Rithm Capital Corp. (NYSE: RITM) is a global multi-dimensional asset manager focused on real estate, credit, and financial services with headquarters in New York, New York, and founded in 2011. The company operates through segments including Origination and Servicing, Investment Portfolio, Residential Transitional Lending, and Asset Management; its core products and services encompass mortgage servicing rights (MSRs) and MSR financing receivables, residential and commercial lending through subsidiaries such as Newrez LLC and Genesis Capital LLC, title, appraisal, property preservation, and maintenance businesses, single-family rental properties and residential mortgage loans, consumer and business purpose loans, real estate securities and call rights, structured credit, and alternative asset management via Sculptor Capital Management. Rithm qualifies as a real estate investment trust and maintains operations primarily in the United States across residential securitizations, business purpose loans for real estate developers, and private capital strategies targeting institutional investors. Recent developments include the 2025 acquisition of Crestline Management L.P. with approximately $17 billion in assets under management to expand private credit, direct lending, fund liquidity, insurance, and reinsurance capabilities; a strategic financing partnership announced in July 2025 to fund up to $1.5 billion in residential transitional loans managed by Genesis Capital; the launch of the Sculptor Loan Financing Partners platform as a captive CLO equity investment vehicle; completion of the Computershare Mortgage Services Inc. acquisition to bolster Newrez's servicing portfolio; and a $1.6 billion deal to acquire Paramount Group for its Class A office portfolio, alongside rebranding from New Residential Investment Corp. in 2022 and internalization of management.
