- Riley Gold Corp. is a Canadian precious-metals exploration and development company focused on the acquisition, exploration and advancement of gold and silver mineral properties in Nevada, United States. The Company’s principal assets comprise the Pipeline West/Clipper Gold Project (PWC) in Lander County within the Cortez District of the Battle Mountain–Eureka Trend; and the 100%-owned Tokop Gold Project in the Tokop Mining District of Esmeralda County within the Walker Lane Trend. Its exploration activities include geological mapping; soil, rock-chip and channel sampling; geochemical and geophysical surveys; interpretation and 3D geological modeling; target generation; reverse-circulation and diamond-core drilling; and evaluation of structurally controlled Carlin-type/sedimentary-rock-hosted and reduced intrusion-related gold mineralization, as well as associated silver and pathfinder-metal occurrences. PWC covers approximately 27.2 square kilometers of patented and unpatented lands near the Gold Acres Mine and targets Carlin-type gold and reduced intrusion-related gold systems; Tokop encompasses an approximately 25-square-kilometer prospective land package and targets gold-silver-bearing quartz veins, stockworks, shear zones and altered intrusive and carbonate-hosted mineralization. The Company is incorporated in 2011, was formerly known as Riley Resources Corp. until its October 2020 name change, and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, while its operating-property portfolio is concentrated in Nevada.
Riley Gold’s principal strategic arrangement is its March 2024 exploration and venture-option agreement with Kinross Gold U.S.A., Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Kinross Gold Corporation, under which Kinross operates PWC and may earn an initial 60% interest through qualifying expenditures of at least US$10 million and a further 15% interest through an additional US$10 million in expenditures; Kinross also acquired a strategic 9.9% equity interest in Riley Gold in connection with the arrangement. In 2026, Kinross expanded the PWC land position through additional claim staking, advanced a soil-geochemistry survey that extended the identified anomalous gold-in-soil trend, completed exploration planning and initiated framework drilling designed to test high-priority targets and vector toward prospective Carlin-type mineralization. Riley Gold also received approximately C$1.67 million during April 2026 from the exercise of 6,677,401 warrants, supporting ongoing corporate and exploration activities.
