Business
Rumbu Holdings Ltd. operates as a Canadian funeral service, memorial and death-care company focused on acquiring, partnering with, managing and operating community-based funeral homes and crematoriums. The Company provides end-of-life care and related funeral services to families, including funeral-home operations, memorial and bereavement-service arrangements, cremation services and associated death-care support. Rumbu follows a local-partnership operating model under which it works with funeral directors and management teams, including directors seeking ownership opportunities, to retain community-based operations and establish managing-partner relationships. Its principal market is Western Canada, with operations and acquisition activity serving rural and mid-market communities in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Rumbu Holdings is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and its common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol RMB. Rumbu pursues a buy-and-build strategy in the fragmented Canadian death-care sector, targeting independent funeral homes and related businesses while maintaining local staff and customer relationships. Its recent expansion includes the October 2025 acquisition of all outstanding shares of Warren & Son Ltd., a funeral-home business in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The transaction was funded through the Company’s Bank of Montreal lending facility and CAD 500,000 of vendor promissory notes, and Rumbu retained most of Warren & Son’s existing personnel. During 2026, the Company continued to pursue additional funeral-home and funeral-related acquisitions, improved its bank financing facility, and proceeded with a proposed non-brokered private placement of up to CAD 2 million to support growth, acquisitions and general corporate purposes.
