Business
Lion Rock Resources Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on the acquisition, exploration, evaluation and advancement of precious-metal and critical-mineral properties in North America. The Company’s principal asset is the 100%-owned Volney Critical Minerals and Gold Project, a past-producing, 142-hectare private-land property in Lawrence County in the Black Hills of South Dakota, United States. Volney hosts a spodumene-bearing pegmatite system and prospective gold-bearing structures. Lion Rock’s exploration portfolio and technical activities target gold; lithium-bearing spodumene; tin-bearing cassiterite; tantalum-bearing minerals including tantalite; and potential gallium by-products. Its activities include geological mapping, surface sampling, geophysical surveying, drilling, metallurgical and mineralogical test work, mineral-resource evaluation, permitting and development planning. The Company principally targets domestic U.S. supply opportunities for battery, electronics, aerospace, defense and other critical-mineral end markets, while gold exploration provides additional precious-metal exposure. At Volney, Lion Rock is advancing potential direct-shipping ore, concentrate-production and mine-to-market development alternatives. Historic operations at the property produced tin, tantalite and spodumene concentrates from one mineralized zone. The Company completed its Phase 1 drilling program of 15 holes totaling approximately 3,600 metres in 2026, confirming lithium, tin and tantalum mineralization and reporting a new gold discovery across multiple mineralized zones. Recent operational developments include the June 2026 receipt of a Conditional Use Permit from Lawrence County for pegmatite mining and bulk sampling; the commencement of metallurgical and mineralogical testing of drill core and bulk samples to assess concentrate grades, recoveries and processing routes for spodumene, cassiterite and tantalum minerals; and the August 2026 completion of a property-wide surface exploration program that extended visible tin and tantalum mineralization by approximately 300 metres beyond previously reported areas, with assays submitted to support Phase 2 drilling-target definition. The Company is also advancing an application for a South Dakota state mining license and is planning Phase 2 expansion and discovery drilling at Volney. Lion Rock trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol ROAR, on the OTCQB under LRRIF and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under KGB. Incorporated in 1998, the Company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
