Business
River Financial Corporation (RVRF) is a bank holding company for River Bank & Trust, a full-service commercial bank that provides a range of financial services to small- and medium-sized businesses, organizations, entrepreneurs, and individuals primarily in Alabama; the bank accepts demand, time, savings, and other deposits, including negotiable order of withdrawal accounts, interest-bearing transaction accounts, money market accounts, and certificates of deposit, while offering commercial real estate term loans, residential mortgage loans, construction and land development loans, home equity lines of credit, commercial and industrial loans, consumer loans for automobiles and other durable goods, SBA 7(a) and 504 loans as a preferred SBA lender, debit and credit cards, electronic banking, wealth management products, investments, and home lending services. Headquartered in Prattville, Alabama, the company was founded in 2006 through the efforts of local business leaders who raised nearly $25 million in common stock from investors, leading to the opening of River Bank & Trust that April; it now operates 23 branches across Alabama with total assets exceeding $3.7 billion, up from $3.58 billion at year-end 2024 which reflected growth in net loans, cash equivalents, and deposits to $3.07 billion driven by organic expansion.
