Seiko Epson Corporation, operating globally through its subsidiaries, engages in the development, manufacturing, distribution, and associated services for a diverse array of offerings within its key business areas: printing solutions, visual communication devices, manufacturing automation and wearable technology, and other ventures. The enterprise is organized into distinct divisions: Printing Solutions, Visual Communications, and Manufacturing-related and Wearables. The Printing Solutions division encompasses a wide range of products including inkjet printers for home and office use, impact dot matrix printers, high-speed page printers, advanced color image scanners, systems for dry process office papermaking, specialized commercial and industrial inkjet printing equipment, precision inkjet printheads, point-of-sale system printers, label production devices, and various printer consumables. The Visual Communications division delivers cutting-edge 3LCD projectors designed for business, educational, residential, and large-scale event applications, alongside smart glasses. The Manufacturing-related and Wearables division provides a comprehensive suite of products, such as wristwatches, precision watch movements, and associated accessories, including those under its Orient and Orient Star brands. This segment also includes factory automation solutions, industrial robots, compact injection molding machinery, and other production systems, alongside crystal units, crystal oscillators, and quartz sensors for consumer electronics, automotive, and industrial uses. Furthermore, it produces CMOS LSIs and other integrated circuits primarily for consumer electronics and automotive sectors, in addition to metal powders utilized as raw materials in electronic component fabrication and for value-added surface finishing across numerous industrial domains. The corporation also offers personal computers within Japan. With its roots established in 1942, the company maintains its primary corporate base in Suwa, Japan, and conducts extensive operations across Japan, the Philippines, the United States, Indonesia, China, and numerous other international markets.
