Business
Asia Plus Group Holdings Public Company Limited (ASP.BK), founded in 1974 and headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, operates as a holding company engaged primarily in investment activities within the Thai securities industry. Through its subsidiaries, including Asia Plus Securities Company Limited, Asia Plus Advisory Company Limited, and Asset Plus Fund Management Company Limited, the group provides a comprehensive range of financial services, such as securities and derivatives brokerage for local and foreign investors; investment advisory and financial advisory services; securities underwriting; securities borrowing and lending; venture capital management; proprietary trading; private equity investments; mutual fund and private fund management; and unit trust investments. The company maintains 16 branches across Thailand, with a focus on capital markets serving institutional clients, high-net-worth individuals, and retail investors. Originally established as Asia Securities Trading Company Limited, it listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 1988, restructured into a holding company around 2014 by transferring most operating businesses to subsidiaries while retaining investment operations, and changed its name from Asia Plus Group Holdings Securities Public Company Limited in July 2015. Recent developments include a strategic push toward full AI transformation announced in January 2025 to enhance wealth management sustainability, celebration of its 50th anniversary in October 2024 with major employee events, Asia Plus Advisory receiving the Deal of the Year award at SET Awards 2024 for financial advisory on a key transaction, and continued recognition as a CAC member for corporate governance excellence in April 2024.
