Business
Chaosua Foods Industry Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based food manufacturing company primarily engaged in the production, marketing, and distribution of processed meat snacks, modern rice crackers, and traditional packaged food products. The company operates through distinct product portfolios and market segments under its flagship Chaosua brand, offering core product lines that include everyday snack products, such as pork floss rice crackers, crispy pork sheets, pork sticks, roasted pork floss rolls, and seasoned seaweed crisps; meal accompaniment products, such as traditional Chinese pork sausages (kun chiang), shredded pork (moo sawan), sweet dried pork (moo whan), pork floss (moo yong), and Vietnamese pork rolls (moo yor); and premium souvenir and seasonal gift sets. Chaosua distributes its products through modern trade channels, including convenience store chains, supermarkets, and hypermarkets; traditional mom-and-pop retail outlets; proprietary standalone concept stores; e-commerce platforms; and export distribution networks serving international markets across the Asia-Pacific region, Greater China, North America, and Australasia. Founded in 1958 and headquartered in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, the company was formerly operated as a family-owned business before restructuring into a public limited entity to support consumer packaged goods expansion. In recent developments, the company completed its initial public offering (IPO) and listed its ordinary shares on the Stock Exchange of Thailand under the ticker symbol CHAO in July 2024, raising capital to finance automated production capacity expansions, automated warehousing systems, and international sales growth. Over the past two years, the company has executed a strategic corporate transition from a traditional souvenir brand to an international everyday snack manufacturer, introducing new high-protein snack formulations, expanding cross-border distribution partnerships across key export markets, and upgrading its manufacturing facilities in Nakhon Ratchasima with advanced automated processing technology.
