Simmons First National Corporation (NASDAQ: SFNC) is a financial holding company that provides banking and other financial products and services to individuals and businesses through its principal subsidiary, Simmons Bank. Simmons Bank offers consumer, real estate and commercial loans; checking, savings and time deposits; agricultural finance, equipment and small business administration lending; trust and fiduciary services; credit cards; investments; treasury management, agency and custodial services; insurance products; ATM services; lines of credit; internet and mobile banking platforms; overdraft facilities; and safe deposit boxes, including specialized offerings such as Coin Checking accounts, Foundation VISA Credit Cards and mortgage lending for new homes, refinancing, investment and vacation properties. The company operates more than 220 branches across Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas from its headquarters in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where it was founded in 1903. In July 2025, Simmons First National Corporation completed a public offering of 16.22 million shares of Class A common stock priced at $18.50 per share, generating net proceeds of approximately $327 million, which funded a balance sheet repositioning that included the sale of $2.4 billion in low-yielding investment securities at an after-tax loss of $626 million and the paydown of higher-rate wholesale deposits and borrowings such as FHLB advances. During the third quarter of 2025, the company issued $325 million in 6.25% Fixed-to-Floating Rate Subordinated Notes due 2035 to repay $330 million in notes due 2028 and redeemed $37 million in notes due 2030, while declaring a quarterly dividend of $0.2125 per share marking its 116th consecutive year of cash dividends. Simmons Bank recently hired David Kennedy as Chief Technology Officer in May 2025 and continues to receive accolades including Newsweek's America's Best Regional Banks 2025, U.S. News & World Report's 2024-2025 Best Companies to Work For in the South, and Forbes' America's Best-In-State Banks 2024 in Tennessee.
