- GKE Corporation Limited is an investment holding company and an integrated provider of warehousing, logistics, and supply chain solutions. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Singapore, the company was formerly known as Van Der Horst Energy Limited before rebranding to GKE Corporation Limited in 2012, and is listed on the Singapore Exchange Catalist board.
The group operates primarily through two business segments: Warehousing & Logistics and Strategic Investments. The Warehousing & Logistics segment delivers end-to-end supply chain management services, including general cargo warehousing; bonded and customs-licensed storage; specialized storage and handling for dangerous goods across Classes 2, 3, 4, 5.1, 6.1, 8, and 9; specialty chemical warehousing and value-added drum filling; London Metal Exchange (LME) approved non-ferrous metal warehousing; international multi-modal sea and air freight forwarding; container haulage and conventional trucking; heavy haulage and out-of-gauge project cargo transportation; marine logistics and lighterage services; and marine port operations, cargo handling, and stevedoring. The Strategic Investments segment encompasses the manufacture and supply of ready-mixed concrete and infrastructural materials for building and civil engineering works; recycling of construction material waste; and controlled-environment indoor agriculture through automated vertical hydroponic farming.
GKE Corporation delivers its solutions through specialized operating subsidiaries, including GKE Warehousing & Logistics Pte Ltd, Mac-Nels Warehousing Pte Ltd, Marquis Services Pte Ltd, TNS Ocean Lines (S) Pte Ltd, GKE Freight Pte Ltd, GKE Express Logistics Pte Ltd, GKE Logistics Services LLC, Wuzhou Xing Jian Readymix Co., Ltd., and GKE Agritech Pte Ltd. The group serves a broad corporate clientele spanning the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, manufacturing, construction, retail, and food industries across Singapore, the People's Republic of China, and the United Arab Emirates.
In recent corporate developments, GKE Corporation has executed a strategic international expansion into the Middle East by establishing operations in Dubai, entering long-term lease and development agreements for a multi-purpose warehouse facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) to support multinational clients in chemical and industrial manufacturing. To fund ongoing regional growth initiatives, the group completed an equity placement of 88.12 million new ordinary shares, raising gross proceeds of S$8.53 million. Structurally, the group initiated a comprehensive strategic review of its investment portfolio, receiving approval-in-principle for the proposed spin-off of its China-based infrastructural materials and ready-mixed concrete business, while also divesting its limestone mining rights in Cangwu County, China. Domestically, the company bolstered its Singapore logistics asset base by securing lease renewals for key industrial properties with JTC Corporation.
